    How do I truly forgive,
especially when the offense is repeated without remorse?

Forgiveness is a holy act. To do so sincerely means that we have to be connected to the Holy. By being still, by being alone with God, we begin to realize we are all children of God. We are all souls. It becomes much easier to forgive someone when we identify them primarily as a soul instead of as an ego that has hurt us. We begin to have compassion for them because we realize that they are prisoners to their ego. We begin to see them as God sees them. We begin to see ourselves as God sees us. We begin to be able to forgive ourselves as well as others.

Hearing the Voices and Experiences of Others
I remember first seeing To Kill A Mockingbird when I was very young. To an eight or nine year old, it was simply a sad and sometimes frightening movie. When I saw it again in my teens, at the old Memphian theater, it was a profoundly moving film. Its messages about racism and doing the right thing were very powerful.

    Simplicity of Activity
And so another day begins. The hectic nature of daily life swings into full gear as we prepare to engage in the activities that seem to claim our lives.

We know that we are over-committed, but when we look at the roles we play and the tasks of each role, there seems to be little chance of whittling down our responsibilities.
